Organizational Sponsors

The Tucson Peace Center is the 501c3 sponsor of the Migrant Trail. The mission of the Tucson Peace Center is to promote the cause of peace, social justice, labor equity and a sustainable environment by supporting non-profit organizations working in the Tucson community through the publication of the Tucson Peace Calendar and through the annual Peace Fair & Music Festival.

The Alianza Indigena Sin Fronteras‘ mission is to affirm the rights of Indigenous peoples, their right to self-determination, their collective human and civil rights, the rights of sovereignty and the protection of sacred sites, and the free unrestricted movement across international borders. We offer our annual programming such as Indigenous Peoples’ Day in Tucson, and other events. We also have the Plant Cruzer Project, the Indigenous Languages Office (based out of the Casa Alitas Migrant Shelter), the Indigenous Archives Without Borders and the Indigenous Podcast Without Borders.

The Arizona Palestine Solidarity Alliance is a solidarity, anti-militarization group working to build a regional movement opposing the ongoing US/Israeli partnership that supports the brutal occupation of the Palestinian people and lands, and the increasing militarization of the US/Mexico border region.

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is a global, nonprofit organization that strives to share God’s love and compassion for all through relief, development and peacebuilding.

Pima Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends is a Quaker community that seeks to honor the eternal spirit in all.

The School Sisters of Notre Dame are an international congregation of women religious whose charism is to stand in solidarity with the struggling peoples of the world.
