Migrant Trail 2024 Registration

Registration open between April  1 – May 12, 2024

The Migrant Trail 2024 is a 75-mile walk from Sasabe, Sonora to Tucson, Arizona. The Walk begins on May 27th and arrives on June 2nd. Participants who will be joining us for the entire week are required to attend the mandatory orientation on Sunday, May 26th. Please make your travel plans accordingly. 

Participants will be sent information regarding the orientation upon finalization of their registration.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited capacity and in recognition of our environmental footprint, the Migrant Trail has a limit of 50 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for completed registrations. 

A completed registration requires the following four steps.

Step 1) REGISTRATION
The online registration form is below. Please fill it out completely and click “submit” (PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING STEPS BEFORE DOING THIS). You will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree to the required registration forms. Registration forms can be found at the links below. Checking the box in the online registration form will serve as your signature and confirmation. You will sign a community form when you arrive to orientation to provide us with your wet signature.

Step 2) MEDICAL INFORMATION FORM
Once you submit your online registration form, you will be provided a link to the Medical Information Form (a required form for the registration process). Please fill the form out and click “submit”

2) REGISTRATION FEES 
If you are invited to join the Migrant Trail, an email will be sent to you with the link to complete Step 4: Registration Fees. You can pay your registration fees via Paypal or credit card.  Your registration is NOT complete until all 4 steps have been completed.

Registration Fees are:
Full week: $75.00 – $200.00
First and/or last day: $10 (suggested donation)

If you will be mailing forms and payment from Canada, please contact us at azmigranttrail@gmail.com for special instructions.
The sliding scale for Canadians is $90-$200 due to the exchange rate.

Cancellation Policy:
Due to administrative costs associated with the Migrant Trail, the following refund policy is now in place for cancellations:
Cancellations before May 1st: $20 non-refundable fee will be retained
Cancellations from May 1-21: $35 non-refundable fee will be retained
Cancellations after May 21st: no refund
