Organizational Sponsors
The Tucson Peace Center is the 501c3 sponsor of the Migrant Trail. We are primarily an umbrella organization comprised of many social justice, environmental, immigrants rights and peace groups. We maintain a community calendar of activist events both mailed monthly in hard copy and online. Finally, annually we produce the Tucson Peace and Music Festival ( where member groups and others display their issues) and the annual Spaghetti dinner.
American Friends Service Committee, Colorado: Taking our direction from people directly impacted by injustice, AFSC Colorado organizes immigrants and allies striving for immigrant justice. By providing leadership development, we resist deportation, lift up positive narratives, and successfully advocate for policy change.
The Arizona Palestine Solidarity Alliance (APSA) is a solidarity, anti-militarization group working to build a regional movement opposing the ongoing US/Israeli partnership that supports the brutal occupation of the Palestinian people and lands, and the increasing militarization of the US/Mexico border region.
BorderLinks offers experiential learning opportunities that explore the causes and difficulties of migration, as well as the impact of U.S. immigration policies. BorderLinks brings to the forefront the voices of migrants and people who are committed to social change.
Boulder Area Sanctuary and Immigration Coalition: We started as an organization dedicated to supporting a family living in sanctuary. Now we have expanded our focus to help support immigrants and families experiencing detainment or threat of deportation.
Community of Christ of the Desert Tucson, AZ emphasizes action for justice, peace and equality. To fulfill our community’s mission of service to God, one another, and the wider world, we meet once a week to pray, to reflect on Jesus’ gospel message, celebrate a service of the breaking of the bread together and prepare ourselves to act individually and as a group in ways that promote peace and social justice for all people. We are located in the Tucson area.
Indigenous Alliance Without Borders: As a collective of Indigenous Peoples, our mission is to affirm the rights of all Indigenous peoples.
Norris Family Fund: A family that supports numerous nonprofits including those that support immigrants, childcare and early childhood education, members of the LGBTQ+ communities.
SOA Watch is a nonviolent grassroots movement working to close the SOA / WHINSEC and similar centers that train state actors such as military, law enforcement and border patrol. We strive to expose, denounce, and end US militarization, oppressive US policies and other forms of state violence in the Americas. We act in solidarity with organizations and movements working for justice and peace throughout the Americas.
